Gestalts are civillians, workers, and officers in the Eusan Nation. The term “Gestalt” meaning “Shape” in German, seems to come from the fact that they provide the neural pattern for Replika units. Contrary to this it seems that all Humans in the Eusan Nation are Gestalts.

Corruption[edit]
Like Replikas, Gestalts fall ill from the strange sickness that infects the worlds we visit in SIGNALIS, most expiring within 5 cycles and exhibiting symptoms akin to radiation poisoning.[1] Instead of reanimating in a violent manner, they disappear and become black spots on the walls. [2]

Trivia[edit]
- This method of expiration may be inspired by the real-world "nuclear shadows" left after the bombing of Hiroshima during World War II[3]
- Another inspiration may be a reference to the oily shadows left behind by victims of the strange pandemic shown in the 2001 Kiyoshi Kurosawa film "Pulse"/"Kairo" (a confirmed inspiration for SIGNALIS by Yuri Stern)[4]
