Gold Key is a Key Item in Signalis used to progress the game. Though technically not an element, it is one of 5 elemental keys in Sierpinski and is obtained after inserting the Video Cassette into the cassette player and completing its first-person cutscene. The elemental keys are used to complete the 5-Lock door and unlock the Waiting Room.

The inspect description is uniquely different from it's counterparts. Unlike how the other keys are acquired by physically picking them up in the game world, the Gold Key is obtained after entering a first-person cutscene which takes place in an entirely new area—presumably in the past—and picking it up from there.
