• The Shotgun shells in Signalis contains tightly packed steel darts, called flechettes, as opposed to the more common lead pellets seen both in other games and in real life shotgun ammo. It is possible that this is to increase effectiveness against Replika targets.
• The Chinese characters on the ammo box are 后羿, the name of Hou Yi, a mythological Chinese archer.
